A Spey Company Fly Reel is warranted by The Spey Company Inc. to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, subject to limitations contained in this warranty. This warranty is extended is transferable to subsequent owners. Please contact me Via Email to update new contact information. I will stand behind every reel that leaves my shop.

If at any time this Spey Company Reel malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, The Spey Company Inc. will repair or replace the reel at its sole option.

The following conditions are specifically excluded from the warranty:

1. Any modifications or alterations made to the reel.

2. Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident, improper use or unauthorized repair.

3. Impact damage will not be covered under warranty, Fair charges will apply for replacement pieces.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

Should you require warranty service for your Spey Company, you should contact : The Spey Company 2318 Bellevue St. Green Bay Wisconsin 54311or by phone at; 1-920-983-9349 . We will authorize you to return the reel to us. No warranty work may be done without such authorization.

After we authorize the return of your reel to us, you may send the reel to the above address. Please insure your package and include in the package with your SpeyCo reel your Name, Address, Telephone, and email information . When we receive and inspect your reel, we will notify you of the work to be done and an approximate date of completion. If non-warranty work is indicated we will advise you prior to proceeding and estimate charges. You, the owner, are responsible for return shipping charges including insurance.


No representative or other person is authorized to assume for The Spey Company Inc. any liability except as stated in this warranty. The Spey Company Inc. makes no other express warranty of any kind whatsoever. All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, exceeding the duration of this warranty are hereby disclaimed and excluded from this warranty

ROD WARRANTY
Every new 2009 Spey Company rod is covered by our lifetime, original owner warranty. This policy applies to the original owner only and is not transferable to another person. Under our policy we will repair or replace (at our option) any SpeyCo rod that becomes damaged due to defective materials and workmanship. The warranty is subject to the original owner completing and returning the warranty card within 25 days of purchase. A copy of the sales receipt must also be returned with the warranty card. You will receive a return card indicating your rod has been registered and a registration number to use with any warranty or service claims. If you do not receive this card – it is not registered.  Sales receipts issued by the factory serve as the registration card and the invoice number will serve as the registration number.  We reserve the right to replace a discontinued model with a current model of our choosing.
Rods (sections) covered by our 2009 WARRANTY and SERVICE POLICY that have become damaged due to accidents; normal wear or misuse will be repaired or replaced at a charge of $50.00 plus return shipping.
This warranty is limited to repair and replacement of the rod only, and does not cover indirect incidental, consequential, or any other type of damage resulting from the use of this rod. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.
Return shipping within the US. $20.00 for return shipping. International customers must include additional funds to cover actual return shipping and insurance charges.
